The Kinni Corridor Collaborative (KinniCC) seeks applicants for its inaugural Board of Directors. Members will assist in the continued development of this newly formed non-profit organization tasked with implementing the Kinnickinnic River Corridor Plan approved by the River Falls City Council in January 2019. Nomination forms are due April 15.
The new board members will serve three-year terms, ending in 2022. The mission of the organization is to “work collaboratively with public and private organizations and individuals to assemble the technical and financial resources needed to implement the current Kinnickinnic River Corridor Plan while preserving the ecology and beauty of the Kinnickinnic River.”
“We are looking for individuals with diverse skills and experiences to help the organization in its inaugural stages,” said Amanda Hanson, River Falls resident and current public relations representative for the KinniCC.
“People who possess strong leadership skills, a passion for preserving the natural beauty of the Kinnickinnic River, and a desire to help our community grow are strongly encouraged to apply.”

“Community members do not need to serve on the board to be involved with the project,” said Hanson. “We all need to pitch in to create a river corridor that we – and generations to come – can be proud of.”
More information on how to become involved without serving on the Board of Directors will be available once a Board is established.
