Village of Hammond residents will have a chance to 'meet and greet' board candidates on Thursday, Feb. 7 in the Hammond Village Hall.

The event is hosted by the Hammond Public Library as a way for Hammond residents to meet and learn more about the candidates running in the upcoming village board election.

Michelle Johnson, library director, said the meet and greet is taking the place of a candidate forum that has been held in the past.

The Hammond Trustee candidates up for election in April are incumbent Doug Doll, Michael Kamm, Laurie Gruber, Sandy Brecht and Lynn Pabst. Running for president are incumbent Tony Bibeau and Erin McComb.
