Hannah Grim-a 2014 graduate of Rosemount High School-will be honored as the newest inductee into the Rosemount Girls' Basketball Hall of Fame Friday, Jan. 12, before the Irish girls' home game against Burnsville. Grim played for the Irish from 2009-2014 and is the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,793 points.

Grim will be honored before the Burnsville game-which is also Alumni Night where all alumni get free admission as well as Hoops for Heart-during which the American Heart Association will be providing free CPR training for anyone during halftime. There will also be a celebratory dinner after the game.

"Hannah was a high-level, multi-sport athlete who was an electric scorer of the basketball with an ultra-competitive mindset," said girls' head coach Chris Orr, who began his tenure midway through Grim's time with the team. "She was not only successful on the court but off the court in the classroom as well."

After graduation from RHS, Grim went on to Marquette University on an athletic scholarship and played basketball there her freshman year. She then went on to transfer to Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2015 on a basketball scholarship where she played the next three years, was named Sunshine State Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention, scored over 1,000 points in her career there and eventually became the all-time leading scorer at the program with 1,2019 points.

While at PBA, Grim was accepted into the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy where she will graduate in 2020 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy, and she said she hopes to stay in Florida to start her career as a pharmacist.

Grim earned a whole list of accolades during her time at RHS. She holds the single-season scoring record with 603 points (22.3 per game) and field goals made (216), is second all-time in 3-pointers made (149), field goals made (662), steals (302) and has the second-most points scored in a game (38). She was a captain, two-time team MVP, two-time All-South Suburban Conference Player, 2013-2014 All-State (First-team coaches association, Third-team AP), 2013-2014 Second-Team All-Metro and a 2013-2014 All-Star game participant.
