George A. Anderson

George Allan Anderson, age 33 of River Falls, WI, died suddenly on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home. George was born the son of Paul and Synneva (Hustoft) Anderson on March 16, 1987 in River Falls, WI. He grew up in River Falls, graduating from River Falls High School. George attended Century College for Graphic Arts. He was a passionate snowboarder and moved to Big Sky, Montana where he worked as a tram operator and made a name for himself on the slopes. He became disabled from a snowboarding accident in 2011. He moved home to River Falls. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor activities. George was a kind, compassionate individual who loved children and animals. George was known by his friends as a person who always brought them laughter and joy. Despite his struggles he lightened the hearts of those around him. He is preceded in death by three of his grandparents and his aunt, Mary Hustoft-Janicki. George is survived by his parents, Paul and Synneva Anderson; brothers, Raymond and Aaron Anderson; grandmother, Myrna Hustoft; aunts and uncles, Janet (Harold) Carter, Cynthia Gaertner, David (Carmella Barut Hustoft) Hustoft, Wilma (Rick) Lysen, Dorthea (Amson Hamman) Hustoft-Hamman; and many cousins and many friends. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Mann Valley Cemetery River Falls, WI. Memorials may be directed to Lymedisease.org Advocacy, Education and Research. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
