Dorothy Ann Rivard, age 71, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2020 surrounded by family at her home in Somerset, Wisconsin. Dorothy was born in Webster, South Dakota to Phillip and Angeline (Snaza) Biczkowski on November 5, 1949. She worked for many years at St. Croix County in a variety of financial roles. Dorothy enjoyed trips to Arizona, going to the casino and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Leroy, Alfred, and Phillip Biczkowski. Dorothy is survived by her beloved family, husband of nearly 50 years, Paul; children Michelle (Matt Anderson) Rivard, Angela (Jason) Saxton, Gregory (Michelle Kieckhoefer) Rivard; grandchildren Brenna Nowak, Jada Saxton, Savannah Saxton; and several close family members and friends.
A special thank you to the staff at St. Croix Hospice and Lakeview Hospital for taking such good care of Dorothy throughout her 3 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Private family services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin.
