This letter is paid content. I am writing this in support of Becky Kranz Beissel for Hastings School District 200. As a Hastings resident for 37 years and retired local business owner, I believe it is time for a change.
Becky is a wife, mother of three children, registered nurse and a third generation Kranz living in Hastings. I worked with her father, Pete, for 25 years in the Little Raiders football program. Becky has great role models to follow into community service. She realizes our children are the biggest asset the community of Hastings possesses. She has the skill set and desire to work for our community.
Becky grew up in Hastings and graduated from here. She has first hand knowledge of what goes on in the community through her mother, Jackie, who has 25 years of experience as an employee of ISD#200. When elected to the school board, she will have an open door policy for the employees of ISD#200. Becky’s strongest assets is her ability to communicate with people.
One of Becky’s goal as a school board member is to see enrollment grow in the next few years by working with the City of Hastings on community growth. I think it is in the best interest of parents in the community and the City of Hastings to elect Becky Kranz Beissel to the ISD#200 School Board.
