This letter is paid content. Four years ago, I said that I was looking forward to our future. I still am. As I walked around the east half of Red Wing and Wacouta Township, I could see well-kept houses and businesses that have kept their “Welcome” signs up. This is in spite of how unwelcome Covid-19 has become.
Thankfully, Goodhue County has responded to the virus with people and programs designed to shore up our safety nets and protect people and jobs directly and indirectly effected.
Goodhue County has been focused on the future by planning to do the right things now. Community partnerships are maintaining social stability and economic recovery. I cannot, and we will not stop working for you. Along with new challenges like equity, housing, and the environment, we will keep taxes down.
I am asking for your vote on November 3rd to continue looking forward to our future together.
Paul Drotos, Goodhue County Commissioner, District 5
