PLUM CITY - The Plum City boys basketball team got its first win of the season Tuesday night defeating St. Croix Central 57-39 in Plum City.

Blue Devils' senior Chase Luebker continued his hot start to the season, scoring 23 points to lead Plum City. Senior Chad Fox added 11 points and senior Travis Hines contributed nine points and nine rebounds.

Ethan Lindahl led St. Croix Central with 17 points.

The Blue Devils led 24-15 at halftime and dominated the glass against St. Croix Central, pulling down 19 offensive rebounds.

"We crashed the boards really well," Plum City head coach Zach Watkins said. "We were getting second, third and sometimes fourth shots up."

The Blue Devils also forced 15 turnovers and found points in transition, Watkins said. Plum City finished 22 of 59 from the field.

The Blue Devils travel to face Glenwood City Friday.
