EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson did not practice yesterday at Winter Park, as he continues to let a slight ankle sprain heal.

Head coach Leslie Frazier says there is no cause for alarm and he fully expects his star tailback to play in Sunday's game at Washington. He says the medical staff simply wanted to give Peterson another day of rest and another day of healing for the ankle he tweaked during last Sunday's 30-7 win over Tennessee at the Metrodome. This Sunday's game at Washington is set to kick off at 3:25 p.m.
