Hudson's boys hockey team was well-represented on the 2018-19 Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association All-State team released last week with five players named to the squad, including repeat selections Cole Danielson and AJ Cohen.
Danielson made All-State for the third straight season, earning a spot on the first team for the second year after receiving honorable mention as a sophomore, while Cohen earned honorable mention to this year's team after making the first team a year ago.
Senior defenseman Carter Maack joined Danielson on the 2018-19 first team while senior defenseman Bennett Schrank and junior forward Payton Hansen received honorable mention.
Maack was previously named to the All-Big Rivers Conference First Team and Danielson was named to the second team while Hanson received honorable mention.
Danielson earned All-State honors for the third straight season after leading the Raiders in scoring with 19 goals and 20 assists for 39 points while Hansen was Hudson's second leading scorer with 10 goals and a team-high 21 assists for 39 points.
In addition to his steady blue line play, Maack was a force on the Raider power play this season, compiling a team-high 10 points with an extra skater. Four of his five goals, and six of his nine assists, came on the power play.
Cohen posted a record of 13-9-1 in goal with a 1.93 goals against average, .897 save percentage and three shutouts, while Schrank had eight goals and eight assists from his blue line position.
