Thursday

Park and East Ridge rounded out the week with a competition at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids on Thursday. The two teams competed against 22 teams in 18 holes and Park ended the day in sixth place, while East Ridge finished in ninth place.

Carissa Oberding led the Wolfpack with a score of 81, while Emily Waldo finished with a total of 90 on the day.

Mackenzie Husaby was right behind Waldo with a score of 91 and Emily Chilton ended her day with a score of 93, a career low. Maddy Bloedel and Alli Lentz rounded out the team with scores of 100 and 102 respectively.

Georgia Holt led the Raptors with a score of 88, while Kyra Venne was right behind her with a score of 89. Bethany Habenna and Kennedy Uzpen ended right next to each other with scores of 96 and 97 respectively.

Lauren Forseth was right behind them with a score of 99, while Lindsey Spolidoro rounded out the team with a 103.

Wednesday

The New Life Academy girls golf team traveled to Eagle Valley as they played two nine-hole matches for postponements earlier in the season.

Rachel Mueller and Kendra Stone led the team with scores of 46 each, while Anna Bettmann finished the day with a 49. Claire Wallerick rounded out the team with a score of 54.

The Eagles finished with a team score of 195, which was one stroke behind the first and second teams, so New Life finished in third place.

The Eagles ended the conference season in third place as a team and had three golfers named All-Conference including Mueller, Stone and Bettmann.

Tuesday

Park hosted East Ridge and a number of other conference teams at River Oaks Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Wolfpack ended the day in third place with a score of 167, while the Raptors ended the day in fourth place with a score of 174.

Emily Waldo led Park with a nine-hole score of 35, while Carissa Oberding finished right behind her with a score of 42. Maddy Bloedel and Molly Jensen each scored a 45 on Tuesday.

Mackenzie Husaby finished the day with a score of 48, while Alli Lentz rounded out the team with a score of 50.

East Ridge had Kyra Venne lead the team with a score of 42, but Georgia Holt was right behind her with a score of 43. Lindsey Spolidoro had a strong day with a score of 44, while Kennedy Uzpen finished with a 45.

Bethany Habbena finished the day with a 51 and Lauren Mortenson rounded out the team with a 57.

The two teams will head over to Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids on Thursday, May 16 at noon for another golf match before sections comes up soon.

Monday

East Ridge and Park traveled to the Stillwater Country Club on Monday for multiple conference matches. They played two nine-hole tournaments on Monday to make up a couple matches throughout the regular season.

The first nine holes were hosted by Stillwater and the last nine were hosted by Mounds View. Either way, East Ridge and Park fought for top five positions in each tournament.

In the first nine holes, East Ridge tied for second place behind Roseville with a score of 162. Park ended in sixth place with a score of 183.

The second nine holes allowed the Raptors to jump up to first place with a team score of 165, while the Wolfpack finished tied for fourth place with a score of 175.

East Ridge had three golfers finish in the top 10 for the first nine holes including Kyra Venne who was the top finisher with a score of 36. Kennedy Uzpen and Georgia Holt rounded out the top 10 with scores of 40 and 41 respectively.

Park also had Carissa Oberding round out the top 15 golfers with a score of 43 in the first nine holes.

In the second nine holes at Stillwater, East Ridge had the same three golfers finish in the top four. Venne was the top golfer again with a score of 38, while Holt and Uzpen each scored 40 to give the Raptors that top spot as a team.

Park added a couple more golfers into the top 15 as Oberding finished sixth with a score of 42. Maddy Bloedel and Emily Waldo rounded out the top 15 with scores of 43 and 44 respectively.

The two teams will head over to River Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove for another conference match on Tuesday, May 14 at 1:30 p.m.

New Life takes third at Cedar Creek

The New Life Academy girls golf team finished third on Monday at Cedar Creek in Albertville as the Eagles finished with a team score of 193.

Rachel Mueller led the Eagles with a score of 45, while Kendra Stone followed behind her with a score of 47. Anna Bettmann and Claire Wallerick rounded out the team with a 48 and 53 respectively to help New Life with its third-place finish.
