Former Woodbury girls' golf coach Bryan Orlenko resigned from his head coaching duties on Wednesday, Aug. 21, according to Orlenko and Marvin Wooten Jr., Woodbury’s activities director.
Orlenko accepted the women’s golf head coaching position at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Orlenko has spent five seasons as the Royals head coach and helped build the program into one of the top girls' golf programs in the state. The Royals were competing for section and state titles every season.
Orlenko helped the girls reach the state tournament in the spring of 2018 and sent a handful of golfers to the individual state tournament over those five years.
