The Lake City volleyball team defeated St. Charles in the first two sets 25-13, 25-20, before losing the third set 19-25. In the fourth set, the Tigers cruised to a 25-8 win.

Elyse Dalager tallied a game-high 31 assists, while Hannah Grimm had 12 assists. Delaney Issendorf racked up a team-high 23 kills. Olivia Pennington had 14 kills and three aces.

Randolph 3, Houston 1

The Rockets fell 21-25 in the first set, but came back to win the next three sets 25-4, 25-12, 25-23.

The Cannon Falls volleyball team picked up its first win of the season with a sweep of Rochester John Marshall on Tuesday.

The Bombers fought hard in the first set, winning 27-25. The Bombers took the second set 25-19 and the third set 25-23 to earn the win.

"Although we had a slow start in the first set, the girls battled back," head coach Melissa Huseth said. "Madison Burr had some clutch serves late in set to give her team the confidence to grab the win."

Jaci Winchell propelled the Bomber offense with 29 assists. Bree Robinson had a team-high 18 digs. Makayla Bowen did a little of everything. She had a team-high 10 kills, 10 digs and six aces.

Spring Grove 3, Randolph 1

After taking the first set 25-18, the Rockets fell in three straight sets in a loss to Spring Grove.

"Spring Grove is one of the top teams in the SEC and we played them pretty tough to start," head coach Marie Jacob said. "We managed to get a win in the first set which is more then we have ever done against them in the past. We scrapped pretty good for awhile but then we just ran out of gas in Set 4."

Kenyon-Wanamingo 3, WEM 1

The Knights battled back from a Set 1 loss to win the second set 28-26. The Knights then won the third and fourth set each 25-19.

Ally Peterson led the Knights with 23 kills and added 17 digs. Julianna Boyum had a team-high 21 digs. Megan Mattson added 19 digs and Madi Luebke had 15 digs.

Luebke also led the Knights with 26 assists, while Riley Dummer tallied 25 assists.
