The Kenyon-Wanamingo volleyball team won three matches and lost one at the Blaine Invite on Saturday.

First up was a match with Faribault. The Knights won the first set 25-14, lost a close second set 25-22 and won the third set 15-10.

Julianna Boyum led the way with 14 kills and eight digs. Madi Luebke paced the Knights with 23 assists. Ally Peterson had a team-high 13 digs, while Kaia Johnson had 10 digs.

The Knights fell in the team's second match of the day to St. Michael-Albertville. SMA took the first set 25-18, the Knights rallied to win the second set 25-19, but SMA won the decisive third set 15-10.

Boyum tallied a team-high nine kills and team-high eight digs, while Peterson had eight kills. Megan Mattson added seven digs. Luebke again led the Knights in assists with 16.

Against Rosemount, the Knights won 25-16, 25-16. Peterson led the Knights offense with 13 kills. Mattson and Riley Dummer each had five digs. Hailey Lerfald had four blocks.

The Knights finished the day with a two-set sweep of Edina, 25-19, 25-17. Peterson led the Knights in kills with eight and 11 digs. Luebke tallied 19 assists and an ace.

K-W returns to its home court Tuesday to face Lourdes.
