The Rochester Lourdes boys' soccer team shut out PIZM 5-0 on Thursday.

In the first half, the Eagles found the back of the net three times. The Eagles piled on in the second with two more goals. The Wildcats were held to just two shots on goal against a strong Lourdes team. Wildcat goalkeeper Corey Peters made nine saves.

Cannon Falls 2, Lake City 1

The Bombers edged Lake City 2-1.

Aidan Palmer scored the lone goal for the Tigers in the first half. The Bombers broke a 1-1 tie in the second en route to a victory.

Cannon Falls (6-6-2) finishes its regular season on Saturday against Simley. Lake City (4-6-4) next plays PIZM on Friday.


The Lourdes girls' team shut out PIZM 3-0, scoring all three goals in the first half.

Alyssa Utsby paced the Eagles offense with two goals. Wildcats goalkeeper Jordan Weber made 13 saves.

PIZM concluded its regular season with a 5-10-1 record overall.


A big first half propelled the PIZM girls' soccer team to a 4-1 win over Lake City on Tuesday.

The Wildcats scored three goals in the first half. Raquel Morera led the offense with two goals. Kiley House and Brynne Kelley each found the back of the net once. Goalkeeper Jordan Weber made five saves.

Kendra Oelkers scored in the second half for the Tigers. McKenna Krier made eight saves in net.
