Simley 54, East Ridge 46
It was a close game between East Ridge and Simley on Saturday, but Simley took home the victory with a 54-46 final score.
Chloe Stoehr led the Raptors with 13 points, while Grace Bennett finished the game with 10 points.
The loss brings East Ridge's record down to 4-7 on the season as the Raptors host in-town rival Woodbury on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
New Life Academy 56, Trinity 36
It was a close first half as New Life Academy led 29-26, but the Eagles were soaring in the second half to take the 56-36 win over Trinity on Friday night.
The Eagles had two players score in double digits as Carly Hager led the team with 17 points and Bethany Brocker was right behind her with 16 points.
The win improves New Life's record to 5-3 on the season as the Eagles travel to Maranatha on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Woodbury 64, Park 33
It was rivalry night at the Lions Den in Woodbury High School as Woodbury and Park squared off for girls basketball.
The Royals took advantage of some early turnovers by Park to take a 24-19 lead heading into the half. Then, it was all Woodbury in the second half as the Royals outscored the Wolfpack 40-14 in the second half.
Woodbury won the rivalry game on Friday night with a 64-33 final score.
Woodbury had three players reach double digits in points with Carley West leading the team at 15 points. Solape Amusan was right behind her with 14 points, while Lizzy Dodge finished the night with 11 points.
Park had three players led the team each with eight points. Those three include Ashanti Boykin, Justine Jameson and Saren Croker.
The win for Woodbury improves its record to 5-5 on the season as the Royals prepare for another rivalry game as they travel to East Ridge on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
The loss for Park brings its record down to 1-10 on the season as the Wolfpack prepares to host Roseville on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
Stillwater 75, East Ridge 26
Stillwater took the lead and continued extending it on Friday night as the Ponies defeated East Ridge 75-26.
Josie Dorf and Chloe Stoehr led the Raptors with six points each.
