The Lake City boys’ basketball won its ninth straight game with a 65-38 victory over Kasson-Mantorville on Friday.

Nathan Heise led the Tiger offense with 19 points and nine assists. Jake Wohlers had 12 points and Reid Gastner added 10 points.

Lake City improved to 17-2 overall and 12-0 in the Hiawatha Valley League.

Randolph 68, Triton 52

Randolph won its 13th consecutive game with a 68-52 victory over Triton on Friday.

Rocket Carsyn Gunderson scored 24 points in the second half to finish with 30, while hitting five 3-pointers. Alex Wille and Nick Drinken each had 11 points for the Rockets.

Randolph improved to 19-1 overall.

Cannon Falls 60, Zumbrota-Mazeppa 43

After building a 13-point lead in the first half, Cannon Falls sustained the lead in the second en route to a 60-43 over Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Friday.

Isaac Illa led the Bombers with a game-high 19 points. Luke Sjoquist had 17 points and three 3-pointers. Rhett Schaefer contributed 11 points.

Cole Peters scored 14 points to lead the Cougars. Zach Hutton added 12 points.

Cannon Falls improved to 13-8 overall and 8-3 in the HVL. Zumbrota-Mazeppa dropped to 13-7 overall and 8-3 in the HVL.

The Zumbrota-Mazeppa boys' basketball team defeated Goodhue 54-37 on Tuesday.

Cole Peters led the Cougars with 19 points. Zach Hutton recorded 14 points and six rebounds.

Z-M improved to 13-6 overall and 8-2 in the Hiawatha Valley Conference. Goodhue fell to 7-13 overall and 3-8 in the HVL.
