The Red Wing boys' basketball team fell to Rochester John Marshall 79-59 Friday night.
The Wingers trailed at the half by 15 points, and the team couldn't put a dent in the Rockets' lead despite scoring 39 points in the second half.
Deso Buck led the Wingers with 19 points and was 5-for-6 from behind the arc. Zach Cota bucketed 14 points and tallied six assists. JM's Matthew Hurt had 44 points in his team's win.
Red Wing fell to 2-15 overall and 1-13 in the Big Nine and will begin a three-game homestand by hosting Faribault at 1 p.m. Saturday. Owatonna comes to town on Monday and Century arrives on Tuesday with a trip to Austin scheduled for Friday.
