The Zumbrota-Mazeppa boys’ basketball team scored 49 second-half points to complete a 69-50, comeback win over Bethlehem Academy on Monday.

Zach Hutton recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Cougars, while Cole Peters bucketed 16 points.

Z-M improved to 14-7 overall.

Blooming Prairie 61, Goodhue 59

Goodhue fell to Blooming Prairie in a close game, 61-59, on Monday.

The WIldcats led 30-23 at the half, but couldn’t sustain the lead in the second half.

Sam Opsahl scored a career-high 30 points for the Wildcats.

Goodhue dropped to 7-14 overall.

The Cannon Falls boys' basketball team won its fifth consecutive game with a 65-57 victory over Chatfield on Saturday.

Isaac Illa scored a game-high 20 points for the Bombers. Drew Otte knocked down two 3-pointers and had 16 points. Luke Sjoquist added 12 points.

The Bombers got to the free-throw line with frequency and went 22-for-26.

Cannon Falls improved to 14-8 overall.
