As the Final Four comes to Minneapolis this upcoming weekend, there are a handful of activities going on besides the two games on Saturday and the championship game on Monday.

One of the events is the American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-point Championships. The championships are taking place at East Ridge High School where some of the best high school players from across the country will come and show off their skills.

East Ridge boys' basketball player Courtney Brown Jr., and East Ridge girls' basketball player Chloe Stoehr will represent the Raptors.

The championships will take place on Friday, April 5 from 1-3 p.m., but the event is not open to the public. The public can watch the events on television on Sunday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.

Brown Jr. will compete in the slam dunk contest, while Stoehr will be in the 3-point contest. Brown Jr. had a strong season with East Ridge as he averaged 15.6 points per game and shot 90 percent from the free throw line. Stoehr was a strong 3-point shooter for the Raptors this season and averaged 6.5 points per game.

The slam dunk contest includes: Onyeka Okongwu from California, P.J. Fuller from Nevada, Marcus Watson from Georgia, Jahmius Ramsey from Texas, Brycen Goodine from Massachusetts, Terry Armstrong from Arizona, Niven Glover from Florida and Brown Jr.

The boys' 3-point contest includes: Matthew Hurt from Minnesota (Rochester John Marshall), Samuel Williamson from Texas, Tyrell Terry from Minnesota (DeLaSalle), Joe Girard from New York, Jarod Lucas from California, Jaylen Forbes from Mississippi, Khalif Battle from New Jersey and Jalen Wilson from Texas.

The girls' 3-point contest includes: Celeste Taylor from New York, Kierstan Bell from Ohio, Rikki Harris from Indiana, Rickey Jackson from Michigan, Anaya Peoples from Illinois, Nyah Green from Texas, Charisma Osborne from California and Stoehr.

Brown Jr. will be playing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee next season, while Stoehr is undecided.
