After going undefeated in Big Rivers Conference dual meets, the Raider gymnastics team posted a season-high score of 141.7 to win the BRC Tournament Saturday, Feb. 16 in Chippewa Falls to earn its first conference championship since 2007.

Paige Hillman returned to full strength to claim individual titles on the uneven bars, balance beam and all-around. Hillman scored 9.45 on the bars, 9.45 on beam, and took second in the vault with 9.25. She also placed fifth in the floor exercise with 9.225 to capture the all-around title with a season-high total of 37.275.

Caroline Erickson won the BRC floor title with a season-high score of 9.55 and took fourth in the vault with 9.15 to finish fourth in the all-around competition with a total of 35.0.

The Raiders also had a conference champion in the vault where Ava Jensen topped the field with a season-high score of 9.475. She also placed third on bars with 8.3 to finish third in the all-around with 35.325.

Amber Robey contributed a second place score of 9.025 on the balance beam and an eighth place score of 9.05 in the floor exercise to the Raider's team total.

The Raiders will return to Chippewa Falls for the WIAA Division 1 sectional this Saturday, Feb. 23. The top two teams and the top five finishers in the individual events and all-around will qualify for the WIAA State Tournament March 1-2 in Wisconsin Rapids.
