Senior Sydney Hendricks headlines a list of five Hudson players named to 2018-19 All-Big Rivers Conference teams by the conference coaches.
Hendricks shared BRC Player of the Year honors with fellow first team pick Charlotte Akervik of the Eau Claire Area Stars. Sophomore forward Nikki Olund was named to the All-BRC Second Team while junior goalie Alayna Kunshier, junior forward Quinn Winkoski and senior forward Dani Robson received honorable mention.
Hendricks is the second straight Raider to earn BRC Player of the Year honors following Anna Wilgren receiving the award last season. Hendricks scored a league-high 23 goals during the regular season and her 36 total points tied for second in the BRC. Her seven power play goals and five game-winning goals also led the league. She's been named to the All-BRC team the last three years.
Olund earned all-conference honors for the second straight season after receiving honorable mention as a freshman. Her 10 goals scored was second most on the team behind Hendricks and she was third in total points with 17.
Winkoski dished out a team-high 13 assists this season while scoring seven goals and Robson had seven goals, including four on the power play, and added eight assists for 15 points. Kunshier posted a record of 10-3-2 during the regular season with a 1.36 goals against average, .914 save percentage and four shutouts.
The Raiders won their third straight BRC title and qualified for the WIAA State Tournament for the first time since 2006 before finishing as state runner-up with a record of 16-10-2.
