The Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance will hold a talking tour around the lake to explain how recent developments, including becoming part of an Army Corps of Engineers pilot program, will affect the future of the lake and related projects.

The talks will help explain questions about sedimentation, local restoration, constructing islands, and using dredge materials to improve habitat and environmental conditions. The meetings will include time for questions and answers, as well as an opportunity for feedback.

Meetings will be held in Maiden Rock at 7 p.m. March 13, Lake City at 6:30 p.m. March 21, Wabasha on March 27, and Pepin at 6 p.m. March 28.
