Washington County Parks will begin its summer campfire program season Memorial Day weekend with programs at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park.

• Carpenter Nature Center will present a program on "Animals of the St. Croix" at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

• The Dodge Nature Center will present a Washington County Parks program on "Chickens, Chickens, Everywhere" at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park.

The programs are free with the park entry fee, $7 daily or $30 annually.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve is at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 10. The program will be in the campground amphitheater. Call 651-430-8370 or visit www.co.washington.mn.us/parks for additional information.
