The Elmwood/Plum City Wolves used superior two-way play from pitcher Anna Blanford to leave Boyceville with another road win on Tuesday, April 16.

Blanford held the Boyceville Bulldogs to one run and four hits and recorded 11 strikeouts in her team's 11-1 Dunn-St. Croix Conference win.

At the plate, the sophomore Wolf nearly matched the Bulldogs' total hits herself. The sophomore went 3-for-4, hit a double in the first inning and recorded two RBI. Kalli Brathol also recorded two RBI for the Wolves (4-0 overall, 4-0 Dunn-St. Croix Conference) and was responsible for two of the Wolves' eight hits.

The Wolves sit atop the Dunn-St. Croix Conference rankings after their first four games of the season and will attempt to hold onto their top-ranked status on Thursday, April 18, when they head to Glenwood City (4-2, 4-1)
