Scoring in every inning, the Red Wing softball team beat Owatonna 15-0 in four innings on Tuesday.
Dani Deming opened the scoring for the Wingers with an RBI-double in the first inning. In the second, Haddie Furlong hit one deep enough to the outfield for Skyla Reed to tag and score from third base. The next batter, Hailey Ehlers, hit a two-run home run to center field.
The Wingers led 4-0 after two innings and piled on the runs in the third. In total, the Wingers scored eight runs on five singles, three walks and two errors. The Wingers added three more runs in the fourth.
Furlong, Deming, Ehlers and Meg Grove each had two RBI for the Wingers. Ehlers and Abby Boxrud each scored three runs. Justine Swenning allowed two hits and three walks in four innings in the circle.
