Park participated in the Tartan Invitational on Saturday and earned first place out of the 11 total teams at the event.

The Wolfpack scored 423 points and controlled first place for the majority of the day, while Woodbury finished second with 392.5 points.

Park started the invitational off with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as the group of boys swam a time of 1:43.62.

In the 200 freestyle, Sam Rhode and Tyson Kalinowski finished fifth and sixth respectively. The success kept going as Devin Schwartz and Mitchell LeMay earned third and fourth place in the 200 individual medley.

Park earned the top spot again in the 50 freestyle as Hogan Lawson swam a time of 22.33 for a first-place finish. Nathan LeMay also earned fourth place in that event.

Hogan Lawson was less than a second behind Woodbury's Lukas Hruby and took second place in the 100 butterfly.

Nathan LeMay came back to the pool and finished in fourth place in the 100 freestyle. Sam Rhode also came back and finished in third place in the 500 freestyle.

Devin Schwartz and Brandon Schwartz each swam the 100 backstroke and Devin earned second place, while Brandon ended up in fifth place.

Park swept the top two places in the 100 breaststroke as Dylan Purrington finished in first place with a time of 1:04.66, while Blake Harre ended up right behind him in second place.

In the freestyle relays, Park finished in fifth place in the 200 freestyle relay. The Wolfpack went up to second place in the 400 freestyle relay.


East Ridge 95, Park 85

It was crosstown rivalry night in the pool on Thursday as East Ridge and Park faced off for an important regular season meet before sections begin in a couple of weeks.

East Ridge took the win home with a 95-85 final score, but it was a strong meet for both of the teams.

The Raptors started off the night with a first- and third-place win in the 200-yard medley relay, while the Wolfpack finished second and fourth in the race.

Park regained the first place spot in the 200 freestyle as Hogan Lawson finished in first place with a time of 1:51.89. Marc Heide and Ryan Langstraat finished second and third respectively for the Raptors.

East Ridge took the top spot once again in the 200 individual medley with a first-place finish by Carter Smith and a time of 2:03.45. Dylan Purrington finished second for Park, while Jakob Heide finished third for the Raptors.

The Raptors took first place in the 50 freestyle with Casey McGrath finishing at the top spot with a time of 22.75. Nathan LeMay and Devin Schwartz earned second and third in the event for Park.

Noah Cagle ended up in first place for East Ridge in the 1-meter diving on Thursday with a final score of 162.50, while Park's Phillip Zawieruszynski earned second place.

East Ridge earned the sweep in the 100 butterfly as William Cho, Mauricio Ballek and Paxton Reiter earned first, second and third place respectively.

McGrath won the 100 freestyle for East Ridge with a time of 49.03, while Lawson and Schwartz earned second- and third-place respectively. Marc Heide and Liam Ashton earned first and second for East Ridge in the 500 freestyle, while LeMay from Park earned third place.

In the 100 backstroke, Smith finished first for East Ridge, while Reiter ended up second for the Raptors. Sam Rhode finished in third place for Park.

It was a sweep for Park in the 100 breaststroke event. Purrington, Blake Harre and Tyson Kalinowski earned first, second and third respectively.

Park finished the night with first-place finishes in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
