Hudson High School's track and field program is excited to inaugurate its new track and athletic complex at Raider Stadium with a number of home track meets this spring, and the athletic department and track coaches are putting out a call to community members who have a desire to be event judges at the meets.

These individuals would administer the field events and assist in the running events. The hope is to develop a team of judges who either know the rules and regulations of an event, or be willing to learn those rules. The coaching staff specialists will teach the individuals the rules and how to administer them.

Field event judges would run the pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus.

The goal is to host the WIAA regional and sectional meets in Hudson in the future, and having a team of event judges with meet experience is essential to running a great meet.

Hudson has varsity meets scheduled for Friday, April 12, Tuesday, April 16, and Monday, May 6, at the high school's athletic complex, and junior varsity meets scheduled for Thursday, May 9, and Tuesday, May 14.
