Hudson senior Logan Hatch won his first match at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament Thursday, Feb. 21 before losing in the quarterfinals while sophomore Peter Hanson was eliminated with a first round loss at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament Thursday, Feb. 21, in Madison.

Hatch (37-7) pinned Cole Ramos (36-6) of Kenosha Bradford in 3 minutes, 44 seconds in his opening match at 138 pounds before dropping an 11-7 decision to Ian Laatsch (43-1) of Appleton North in the quarterfinals. He’ll face Chad Holzmen (26-11) of Hamilton in the consolation round Friday. Feb. 21.

Hansen (37-7) was pinned by Cooper Schlosser (43-6) of West Bend East in his opening round match at 160 pounds.
