The 2019 Spring Valley High School Junior-Senior Prom King and Queen, Jon Corriea and Savannah Carlberg, were crowned at the school’s grand march on Saturday, April 27, in the high school commons, prior to the prom dinner and dance at Hidden Meadows and Barn in Pepin. Ellsworth High School students and FFA members Kailey Brenner and Roslind Anderson are both working on Living to Serve Plans with the goal of helping the local community in some way. Brenner is working on a plan to collect money for books for less fortunate children, while Anderson is working on a plan to collect winter clothes for students who can’t afford them. Submitted photo

The Hudson Marching Band took part in a field show at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis this past season. The band was able to replace its nearly 20-year-old uniforms three years ago after the HMB Parent Group raised enough money to purchase these new uniforms in less than a year. Submitted photo
